In Hinduism, Yasoda was a peasant woman who lived in the forest of Vrindavana.

Yasoda with her husband Nanda raised their foster-children Krishna, Balarama, and Subhadra.

She also had her own daughter, Ekānaṅgā, who has at times featured in the worship of Krishna.
