The World Centre for Vedic Learning is a skyscraper project in Jabalpur, India. It was announced by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in 1998. The World Centre for Vedic Learning will be, if constructed, home to up to 100,000 Vedic Pandits. At a planned 677 metres (2,222 ft), it would be more than 600 feet (18 m) taller than Taipei 101 in Taipei, Taiwan, the current record holder (however, it would be shorter than the currently under construction Burj Dubai which is expected to top 2300 ft.). and a ground site of 339 * 339 metres. 103 m² (1,111 feet square) at its base, it would be many times larger in mass than any existing tall building, and have more than 3 km² (30 million square feet) of liveable space on 160 floors. The proposed site is 50 kilometres Northeast of Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, in the Brahmasthan, or exact centre of India.
