In Hinduism, Vivasvat (also Visvakarma or Vivasvan) is a solar deity and the architect who built the cities and palaces of the gods, as well as a master craftsman and artisan. He is married to Saranya and father of the Asvins, Sanjana, Vaivasvata Manu, Yama and Yami.
