Shraavana (Hindi: सावन saavan or श्रावण shraavan) is a month of the Hindu calendar, also known as Sawan. In India's national civil calendar, Shraavan is the fifth month of the year, beginning on 23 July and ending on 22 August.

In lunar religious calendars, Shraavana may begin on either the new moon or the full moon around the same time of year, and is usually the fifth month of the year.

In solar religious calendars, Shraavan begins with the Sun's entry into Cancer, and is usually the fourth month of the year.
