Sankosh is a river in India that rises in Bhutan (where it is called Mo Chu) and empties into the Brahmaputra. It drains the Great Himalayan range between Chomo Lhari and Kula Kangri. The various upper tributaries of the Sankosh unite near Punakha (altitude 1515 m). Below Punakha, the river bed is quite wide but below Wangi Phodrang (altitude 1364 m) the river flows through a precipitous gorge.
