Phnom Bakheng at Angkor, Cambodia, is a Hindu temple in the form of a Temple mountain, dedicated to Shiva and built at the end of the 9th century, during the reign of Yasovarman (from 889-910). It is nowadays a popular tourist spot for watching sunsets, also offering a good view of Angkor Wat lying amid the jungle some 1.5 km away to the southeast.
