Paramahamsa Sri Nithyananda is an Indian spiritual guru and founder of the Nithyananda Foundation. He says his mission is to heal the sick and to unleash the potential that lies latent in every man.

Early Life

Paramahamsa Nithyananda was born on the January 1, 1978, at Thiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu, India a spiritual nerve centre and the home of the Master Sri Ramana Maharishi. The child was named Rajasekaran. The parents noticed the spiritual inclinations of the child and allowed it to have its own way. The child seemed to like the company of Sadhus and Yogis. He was put to school but his formal learning



was just an episode in the process of his spiritual yearning and its eventual fulfillment.

"Be Blissful" is Swami Nithyananda's mission statement. He says, "Healing is only my visiting card, my mission is to awaken the divinity that lies latent in every man."

Programmes

This program referred to as the Ananda Spurana Program (ASP) in India and Life Bliss Program (LBP) outside India, aims at unleashing the latent inner potential of every Being by taking the first step towards Bliss. "Ananda" means Bliss and "Spurana" means flowering. This program is about the flowering of Bliss within oneself.

He also writes a spiritual series named "Kadavai thira kaatru varattum" in Kumudam, a Tamil language weekly.
