Kerala is a region of India, musically



known for Sopanam. Sopanam is religious in nature, and developed through singing invocatory songs at the Kalam of Kali, and later inside temples. Some famous singers are Neralattu Rama Poduval, Janardhanan Nedungadi and Damodara Marar.
