Beruas is a small town in Perak Darul Ridzuan, Malaysia. It is believed to be the location of the old Hindu Kingdom of Gangga Negara. It is also believed to be the birthplace of Islamic teaching in Malay Peninsula. Beruas is also the name of a type of wild mangosteen.
